The Border Union Show will be held on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July 2020.

The Border Union Agricultural Show has a large and varied sheep sections which, in 2019, totalled nearly 1,000 animals including Border Leicester, Suffolk, Cheviot, NCC, Lairg type Cheviot, Blackface, Bluefaced Leicester, Texel, Scotch Half Bred, Scotch Mule, Non MV Suffolks, Non MV Texels, Jacob, Shetland, Lleyn, Zwartble and Hebridean. Our Prime Lambs and Young Handler Classes are increasing in popularity. In 2019, our reserve Champion was selected from the sheep section.
Many of our exhibitors return to our Border Union Ram Sales later in the year.
We are delighted to welcome some of the finest animals in the country to our Cattle Sections. Our sections usually include Aberdeen Angus, Native Beef Breeds, Continental Beef Breeds and Young Handler Classes. In 2019, our Champion of Champions came from the Cattle section.
The Show has a range of classes for Horses, Ponies and Donkeys including Mountain and Moorland Ridden and In-Hand, First Ridden and Lead Rein, Riding Ponies, Hunter Pony Breeding, Coloured Horses, Working Hunter Ponies, Hunters, Riding Horses, Side Saddle, RoR and Heavy Horses, amongst NPS qualifiers and various others. in 2019, third place in the Champion of Champion was selected from the Donkey Section.

Our Stick section is well attended and incredibly competitive. We are thrilled to see this section thrive!
Goat classes at the Border Union Show are a huge draw for our audiences.

Our Industrial Section is very popular and includes classes such as baking, preserves, floral art and handcrafts. These classes are open to all so be brave and get your entry in!
