Turn off on to the A7 at Carlisle and stay on the A7 until Hawick. At Hawick take the A698 for Kelso until it joins the A68. Turn left for Edinburgh until St Boswells. Turn immediately right on to the A699 through Maxton for Kelso. This road passes the showground.
From the south on the A1:
Take the A697 just after Morpeth for Coldstream. At Cornhill on Tweed take the B6350 (opposite the Collingwood Arms Hotel) for Wark. Stay on this road until Kelso. Turn right at the ‘T’ junction and then straight on at the next junction. The showground is in front of you.
From the south on the A68:
Pass through Jedburgh and at the fork take the A698 to Kelso. From Kelso follow the signs for show.
From the north:
Take the A68 from Edinburgh until St Boswells. At St Boswells take the 2nd road for Kelso, the A699 through Maxton, until you reach the showground.
Exhibitors caravans are welcomed and the caravan site is open from 08.00 a.m. Friday prior to the show and until 12.00 p.m. on the Wednesday after the show. There is a modern toilet and shower block on site and a skip is provided for waste disposal. There is also a disposal point for chemical toilet waste and waste water.
A caravan application form is included in the schedule and once completed should be sent, along with payment, to the Secretary for processing. The pass and a copy of the caravan site rules will be sent to exhibitors once processing is complete.
Note for caravanners – Late arrivals will be able to park overnight as in previous years. Follow the sign to the area opposite the show entrance.
