The Border Union Agricultural Society is at the heart of the rural economy in the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland.
Investing in the next generation and providing people with the opportunity to learn about food, farming and the countryside are some of our core objectives. This is demonstrated at our annual educational event- ‘School’s Day’ which every primary 5 pupil in the area can attend. The event gives young people first hand experience of the rural industries which support the economy, and importantly aims to give a better understanding of the provinence of food and where it comes from.
