The Border Union Show is the highlight of the event and agricultural calendar for the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. The Annual Show is held on the last Friday and Saturday of July in the Borders Events Centre on the outskirts of the pretty cobbled town of Kelso. This year, the event will be held on the 24th and 25th July 2020.
The show is a traditional farming show with over 500 open competitions for horses, livestock and industrial arts. There are over 200 trade stands for everything you could imagine from tractors and farm supplies to clothing and food outlets. Our fantastic Food Fair welcomes producers from throughout Scotland and far beyond whilst the Craft & Gift Marquee is a treasure trove of unique and special gifts.
The children’s fun fair is the ideal place for the kids to blow off steam. There are catering outlets with tempting treats including seafood, crepes and the ever popular burger and chips. Of course, it wouldn’t be a good agricultural show without a bar or two.
We are busy finalising details for the main ring entertainment and very much look forward to making announcements very soon. To keep up with all the latest developments, follow “Border Union, Kelso” on facebook.
It certainly promises to be a great day out for everyone!

We wish to assure all our stakeholders, partners and visitors that the Border Union Agricultural Society are monitoring the current Coronavirus situation very closely and we remain hopeful that the Border Union Show and Kelso Ram Sales will still go ahead as scheduled. With months to go before these events, we are operating a watching brief and will follow Government advice as and when it becomes available.
